Ulata

Polar Night Form

Dark Ice Final Form Regional Form

Cold weather is their favorite time for pranks—sneaking their icy paws into young Roco's collars. When their energy is full, they throw ice-magic-infused cold jokes at each other, looking like they're having a snowball fight.

Recommended Skill Sets

Finisher Sustain Build

Playstyle

Late-game field harvest, triggers trait buff by defeating enemies, uses lifesteal to maintain HP, snowball controls key targets

Why this set works

Utilize the scaling of "Exploit Weakness" and the lifesteal of "Greed" to form a sustain system, with "Snowball" providing control counterplay and "Mist Surround" solving energy issues. Physical Attack surges after trait activation, allowing sustained harvesting with lifesteal.

Loot a Burning House

Why pick this skill

Core damage skill. 2-hit combo with low Energy cost (35). Permanently increases combo count after defeating an enemy. Perfectly synergizes with the trait "Devil's Banquet" — grows stronger the longer the battle lasts.

Greed

Why pick this skill

100% lifesteal; combined with high Physical Attack and Ability boosts, greatly improves sustain, compensating for low Speed

Snowball

Why pick this skill

Deals physical damage and applies 2 stacks of Freeze. When reacting, power doubles and applies 4 stacks of Freeze. The main control method allowing slow Ullata to counter fast opponents.

Mist Surround

Why pick this skill

Energy recovery equals half of enemy's total skill energy cost, can quickly restore energy when facing high-energy skills, ensuring continuous combat capability.

Extreme Burst Build

Playstyle

Priority buff followed by burst output, using Speed reduction and lifesteal to maintain field presence, Extreme Tear as finisher

Why this set works

Extreme Physical Attack Burst Strategy: "Power Boost" + "Extreme Tear" deal massive damage, "Greed" provides lifesteal sustain, "Ice Toss" reduces speed for support. Suitable for quickly eliminating key targets.

Power Boost

Why pick this skill

Physical Attack +100% boosting skill, activating first turn combined with ability to deal extremely high damage, the core of burst damage output

Extreme Rend

Why pick this skill

High-power Physical damage (135), applies -50% ATK/DEF as side effect when HP is above 50% after use. However, under "Power Boost" and trait buffs, remains considerable even after halving, or used as a finishing move

Ice Toss

Why pick this skill

Deals physical damage and reduces enemy speed by 30%, alleviating its own speed disadvantage and making subsequent actions more advantageous.

Greed

Why pick this skill

100% lifesteal; using after Power Boost can recover massive HP, offsetting possible side effects of Extreme Tear or maintaining field presence

Energy Suppression Counter Build

Playstyle

Late-game energy cost suppression, counters fast opponents through increasing enemy energy cost and counter mechanics, Dark Raid as counter core

Why this set works

Energy suppression and counter-attack system: 'Icicle Drop' and 'Malicious Escape' stack energy penalties, 'Dark Ambush' counters doubled attacks, 'Mist Surround' provides energy recovery to maintain the loop. Utilize extremely low Speed to let enemies move first, then counter.

Icicle Drop

Why pick this skill

Deals physical damage and increases enemy's all-skill energy cost by 1. Continuously suppresses enemy energy, combined with slow speed characteristics to make it difficult for enemies to use high-energy-cost skills.

Dark Ambush

Why pick this skill

Deals physical damage and drains 50% HP. Power doubles when countering. Core skill for late-turn counterplay, with moderate energy cost (70).

Malicious Escape

Why pick this skill

Evasion skill: when reacting to Defense, additionally increases enemy attack skill cost by 4, forming an Energy suppression combo with 'Ice Crystal Drop', while providing switch flexibility.

Mist Surround

Why pick this skill

Energy recovery equals half of enemy's total skill energy cost, can restore large amounts of energy in energy suppression systems, forming a virtuous cycle.

Notes
  • Ullata (Polar Night Form) is a Dark + Ice type physical attacker with extremely high Physical Attack (158) and excellent HP (160), but extremely low Speed (50) and poor Magic Defense (57). The trait "Demon's Banquet" grants +50% to both attacks when actively defeating an enemy, which combined with high Physical Attack can create a snowball effect.
  • With extremely slow speed, Ulata must rely on counter-attacks, lifesteal sustain, or control to survive. The skill pool contains various lifesteal, enhancement, control, and counter mechanics, suited for attrition and cleanup battles.
  • Main weaknesses: Weak to Martial, Bug, Cute, Fire, Earth, and Mechanical types, with Fire and Mechanical posing the greatest threat.
